COURSE DESCRIPTION:
 (Pre-requisite: Introduction to Holistic Management and Holistic Management® Biological Monitoring)

In this class you will learn about the different types of policies and what makes an effective policy or project. You will also learn several diagnosis processes, including a structured natural resource diagnosis, which will help you determine what the root cause of a problem is so you can create effective policies or projects to address that problem and the symptoms that problem is creating. You will also learn the steps to discern what type of policy is needed and create effective policies and programs through integrating the Holistic Management® Framework learned in the Introductory class.

1. How to determine what is a sound policy
2. How to determine what is an effective project
3. How to determine what the problem is that a policy or project is attempting to address
4. How to determine what the root cause of that problem is
5. How to create an effective policy
6. How to create an effective project
7. How to determine the type of policy or project necessary
8. How to determine who should be involved and how in the policy/project development process
9. How to sell/market the policy/project
